QUESTION
What can I do if my Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 install code is 19 characters instead of 20?

ANSWER
If you are trying to install Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 and the code is only 19 characters long, then it is missing the last letter or number. This was due to a misprint on a small number of manuals and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
In order to get a replacement code, please click the “E-mail Us” link on the left side of the page to send an e-mail to our team.

If you would like you can also contact us by phone using the number found on page 28 of your manual.

WHOA!!

It is CRUCIAL to remember that “licensing” is the FIRST THING your customers see when evaluating or installing your product for use! Why would you not strive to make it as painless as possible for your users?

Nitro-LM was designed to streamline the registration and licensing processes so that your customers only focus on installing and USING your software. Nitro-LM can be used regardless of which distribution model you are using for your software (e.g. SaaS, purchased downloads, CDs, etc.)

Fundamentally speaking, the less complicated you make the registration and licensing process(es), the more satisfied your customers will be. Customers will always remember when you cause them “pain”, and they never seem to remember how smooth something worked.

How do your customers think of your installation and licensing “approach” or “solution”?
