Over the last 10+ years we have worked with everyone from the one-man start-ups to the multi-billion dollar Fortune 500 corporations - selling and managing licenses around the world.
We created the Nitro-LM licensing service because we were frustrated by the outrageous fees and approaches to licensing our own software by third-party licensing companies. Our frustration was found in a sincere lack of third-party features, overall flexibility, security and a "surprise" cost of ownership. To make things worse, we were often shocked with pricing based on a "percentage" of our company's revenue.
Basically, third-party software licensing companies saw themselves as nothing more than a "brick" in the "wall" that is your software, not the "foundation" upon which to build a revenue stream that software companies need and want. We saw things differently back then, and still do to this day relative to our competitors.
